The island continents of Dilmun contains many places to explore. The cities, ruins and other places to visit are often difficult to navigate, and even contain hidden treasures that can be overlooked. Below are several maps that will help with your journey while playing Dragon Wars. Everywhere from Purgatory through Nisir, with treasure markets, paragraph notifications and skill activators. Our walkthrough page also contains links to these maps (so you don't need to jump back and forth). Click a link or map image below to view a large version of the map.
NOTE: These maps are based off of the DOS version of Dragon Wars. The Amiga and Apple versions are very similar, and the maps should be the same for both. Since the Nintendo (NES) user interface is different from other versions, the maps may be slightly different for that system.

The first bridge, between Forlorn (where Purgatory is) and the Isle of the Sun (Phoebus, Mystic Forest)
The second bridge, between the Isle of the Sun (Phoebus, Mystic Forest) and the small island where Lansk is located.
The third bridge, between small island where Lansk is located, and Quag (Mud Toad and Smuggler's Cove).
Located on King's Isle, Accessible via the Siege Camp. This city is currently under siege by Namtar's Forces.
The world map of Dragon Wars. The island continent of Dilmun and all the game's major locations.
A late game area, with some difficult enemies. If you have the Dragon Gem, you can use it here to aid in defeating Namtar.
On King's Isle. The ruins give you access to part of Dwarf Clan Hall (if you have the Jade Eyes)
Half of this area is accessible via the Magan Underworld, and half is accessible via the Dwarf Ruins.
The secret laboratory of Lanac Toor, accessible only if you assemble the statue in Mud Toad. Note: This area wraps upon itself.
Accessable via the Magan Underworld, or through Lansk (with a bribe). An area full of shops and some rough encounters.
A large underground area that leads to several parts of the Realm. Also contains "The Pit" and Irkalla's Realm. Note: This area wraps upon itself.
The sinking city on the swampy island of Quag. If you have Create Wall, you can obtain the Golden Boots (needed for various puzzles).
A magical forest blessed by Enkidu, on the Isle of the Sun. Contains a portal that links to Quag and King's Isle. Also accessible from the Maga Underworld.
The city of the dead, home of Nergal the god of the Dead. A late game area, with some good loot.
The tunnel system that you need to navigate in order to finally confront Namtar. Bring Soften Stone and a well equiped part. Note: This area wraps upon itself.
Old Dock is located on King's Isle, and gives you access to Lansk (500 gold) and Pilgram's Dock (Salvation).
On it's own island, accessible from the Magan Underworld or the Pilgram's Dock. You need to pass through Salvation in order to reach Nisir.
In the middle of Rustic island - needed to pass in order to reach the Magic College.
Accessible early in the game, to the west of Purgatory. Use Bureaucracy to gain the trust of the slaves.
Accessible only if sell yourself into the slave market in Purgatory. Note: This area wraps upon itself.
On Quag. Immediate access to Necropolis, and if you win a tough battle, access to Rustic, Sunken Ruins and Freeport.
Accessible from the Sunken Ruins, only if you freed Irkalla (and have the water potion). Note: This area wraps upon itself.
Accessible from Tar Ruins (if you have the strength), or from the Magan Underworld. Note: This area wraps upon itself.
